Berlynn

Barn Name:

Berlynn was bred by Kingdom Acres, and was born in 2020. She is the result of an accidental line breeding between her dam and her dam's sire. However, it's hard to go wrong linebreeding Green Gables stock! Due to this, she's an extremely petite doe standing just over 19 inches in November 2021 at nearly a year old. The mini nubian breed standard minimum is 23 inches, so we will be utilizing her to bring down size on some of our larger, less refined goats. She joined our herd in October 2021 along with her full sister, Pearl, and half sisters Bailey and Selah.

Berlynn is a black and tan buckskin with full white belt, roaning, white poll, and frosted nose and ears. She freshened for the first time in 2022 with a single buckling. In 2023, she freshened for the second time with a single doeling. In 2024, she surprised us with quintuplets, 3 bucklings and two doelings. She's been able to raise them completely unassisted! All of her kids have been buckskin even when bred to a black buck, so we believe she has two copies of the buckskin coat pattern.

Mojo is a beautiful and small buck. I believe he is buckskin carrying black. He has an extensive white overlay. His dam had a significant amount of roaning, which he has also passed to a number of his daughters along with his smaller size.
